Plain Yogurt 1 lb
1 cucumber peeled and grated
4-5 inch celery stalk chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fennel bulb (optional)
1 tablespoon diced jalapeno pepper
Salt to taste
Black pepper a few dashes
Red pepper flakes a couple of dashes or as per taste
Chopped Cilantro for garnish.
Grate the cucumber into a large serving bowl. Add in all the above ingredients and mix well so that the yogurt is smooth and well blended. Serve as a side with Indian flat breads and rice dishes.
